Looking to showcase the new Bolt EUV and its many features, Chevrolet approached us to create a simple yet elegantly informative AR experience which would allow users to explore the car in 3D and through educational hotspots.

Revealing the Bolt EUV in augmented reality.
We created a 3D model of the EUV Bolt allowing users to explore its many features directly on their phones.
The Bolt EUV’s simple and efficient charging mechanism is one of its most popular features.
We wanted to show it off by creating an AR experience where users can plug into their surroundings to make the car appear.
With a 3D model now before them, users can walk around the car to admire it from different angles or pinch it with their fingers to move it around. They can also change the car to one of the four distinctive colours the Bolt EUV comes in.
Explore the Bolt EUV in all its glory!
Users can then tap on certain hotspots in order to explore its many features through concise, easy to digest information cards.
And with a 360 panoramic view of their own surroundings viewable through the windows, users can also explore the car’s interior as though they were in it.
Mobile AR experiences, especially on browser require light assets to enable quick loading and to keep the user on the platform. That is why asset optimisation is always one of our main concerns when building interactive experiences.
