makemepulse is a destination for world-class creativity and craft in the digital and interactive space. Now we’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to help us practice what we preach and showcase our own work and company, to build brand awareness and drive growth.
If you’re passionate about social media, marketing and the creative design and digital industry, have experience implementing successful social media and marketing campaigns within a B2B environment, we want to hear from you. Our core platforms are makemepulse.com, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. We are also looking to expand our outreach and want your guidance on what channels we could explore to help meet those wider business goals.
You might currently be working for another agency, production company or design studio, editorial or publishing company or freelance. Or maybe you’ll have a different type of relevant experience. Either way, you’ll have a proven track record of growing and managing social media channels, coordinating multiple campaigns highlighting both client projects and makemepulse initiatives, raising brand awareness and creating campaigns and content that generate new leads for the growth team successfully.
You’ll get the chance to help evolve our marketing strategy; work with some amazing people across growth, design and production; and you’ll also collaborate with external partners to amplify our brand and work beyond our existing audience.
Most importantly, you’ll get the chance to work at a highly collaborative, supportive, optimistic and ambitious company.
In a typical month, you might be working on:
An email campaign to generate awareness about our work in a specific sector, for example gaming
A social media campaign promoting one of our new client projects for makemepulse owned channels like this one for Spotify
Setting new standards for creating beautiful motion based social content
Our monthly newsletter
Brainstorming ideas to highlight new talent or target a new vertical like automotives
In addition to these live campaigns the Social Media and Marketing Manager will also optimise our CRM processes, measure the effectiveness of the live campaigns and develop reports for the senior leadership /sales team.
It’s a hugely varied role, and the ideal candidate will have the following:
1-3 years’ experience in marketing with social media experience favoured
Passionate about creativity and a great eye for design and detail
Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
Practical skills in content creation specifically motion design
Familiarity with Figma and adobe creative suite
A good understanding of digital marketing: Email and social
Proven ability to drive audience/traffic growth via email, content and social media
Solid working knowledge of CRM/email marketing platforms (experience with Mailchimp / Sellsy / HubSpot a bonus)
Strong project management skills
Confidence using data to evaluate, analyse and report back on campaign success
If you can’t tick all of those boxes then don’t let that put you off! Above all, we’re looking for someone that is enthusiastic, capable and eager to learn. For the right person this is an exciting role with excellent development prospects.
