XR Holocaust education, launching in 2024

On the 85th Anniversary of Kristallnacht, we’re announcing a collaboration with Claims Conference and the USC Shoah Foundation - The Institute for Visual History and Education in partnership with Meta, UNESCO and the World Jewish Congress.

In 2024 we’ll launch an immersive XR experience, providing a new lens to Holocaust education, and a pivotal night in history.

The experience will feature Holocaust survivor Dr Charlotte Knobloch as she shares her memories within an immersive backdrop of historical footage and illustration, giving users an opportunity understand the moments before, during and after Kristallnacht - The “Night Of Broken Glass”.

Head over to the project microsite to see teaser, presented by the Claims Conference and USC Shoah now.

We're incredibly proud of our partnership with the Claims Conference and the USC Shoah Foundation. The perspective of a Kristallnacht survivor runs deep and bringing the poignant story to life demands sensitivity. Meanwhile, its impact requires a lot of the audience. As an XR digital experience, the story becomes more accessible and we can clearly see the power of technology to inspire and educate. This unique collaboration will allow us to honour the past and ensure that the story of resilience and survival endures for future generations, in a truly immersive and impactful way.
